Toi tū Te Tiriti! Happy Waitangi Day e te whānau. ❤️

February 6th 2025 represents 185 years since the signing of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and what a pleasure it was for Upper Hutt Multicultural Council to be involved in one of the many celebrations of the day. 

At Ōrongomai Marae, one of our committee members, Inspector Anthony Tebbutt, was part of the wero during the morning pōwhiri, signaling our commitment as Tauiwi to being tangata tiriti and strengthening relations with tangata whenua.
